The team is 9-5-2 so far and hoping to continue winning games. They have had a brutal OK White Conference, playing tough teams like Grand Rapids Christian and Forest Hills Central, but they are still competing at a very high level which makes them look like they belong. The boys follow a specific motto: “Earned. Never Given,” as well as  “Blue Collar Mentality.”

Getting closer to playoffs, the boys are really starting to focus thanks to Head Coach Michael Dublis and Assistant Coach Rich Young, who is also a coach for the girls team. The District includes teams like Belding, West Catholic, North Pointe Christian and Comstock Park. As they practice every day after school, the boys are learning new formations and systems to improve their game.

During playoff preparation, Gianluca Piccone ‘28 said,  “I feel very confident and think we are going to start off very strong.” Michael Kuzner ‘27 said, “The team is really connected right now and it should be a very entertaining district tournament.”
