The first of May often marks warm weather, blue skies, and the final stretch of school, but for seniors around the world it means a little more. All the senior college decisions about where they choose to spend their time after they graduate must be in and the relief on such a stressful decision is over! For them, this also means that their high school experience is wrapping up with only a week left to walk the halls they have been in the last four years. 

This day is a rite of passage for all seniors; it celebrates their start to adulthood and a finalization of their education path. Many seniors wear shirts showing the college, trade school, or military branch they have chosen to commit to. Fun social media videos and pictures are posted to share the celebration with everyone. However, this day can also be sad for many when the realization sets in that these upcoming summer months may be the last time seniors are in the same state as a lot of their friends and peers.
