On October 19th, the Catholic Central Choirs took the stage for their fall concert. Since the beginning of the school year, the three choirs have been rehearsing non-stop to prepare pieces, with the tunes ranging from ancient laments to showtunes.

Woman’s Chorale, directed by alum Jordan Malone, was the first to perform. They closed their repertoire with the group’s favorite, “Homeward Bound.” Malone then brought up Men’s Choir, who jammed with alum accompanist Gabe Groh (‘21)as they performed The Tempations’ 1964 hit “My Girl.” The Capella Choir then closed out the night with “Seasons of Love” from RENT.

The variety between songs created a fun experience for the audience. The choirs are now beginning to prepare holiday music for their winter events, including Madrigal Dinner and the Winter Concert.
