As the talent show came to a close, participants received recognition for their bravery and creativity. Many audience members agreed that this year’s talent show was one of the most memorable yet, celebrating the spirit, skill and imagination of the students.
Every year, students and faculty fill Catholic Central’s gymnasium with a lot of talent and enthusiasm, ready to see many performers from all grade levels. This annual event emphasizes courage and creativity from all students. It will continue to serve as an opportunity for all students to express themselves and their interests.
The first place performance went to Albert Diaz (‘26), Katelyn Ngo (‘26), Loche Near (‘27) and Shannon Hormuth (‘27). They performed “Gravity” by John Mayer as a band with flawless collaboration and confidence.

First place also went to Tessa Lindemann (‘27), who did a dance performance to “Die on this hill” by Sienna Spiro. Her performance was memorable, giving the audience a different vibe. She showed a lot of emotion while performing the dance making it feel vulnerable and real.

The second place award went to Paul Huynh (‘27), who played “Vienna” by Billy Joel on the piano. His performance was outstanding, leaving many in the audience speechless. Many shined their flashlights towards him while playing, making the moment even more memorable. He showed his abilities and stage presence while performing.

Third place went to Rowan Kozminski (‘27), who performed “Clair De Luna” by Claude Debussy. He brought an excellent performance holding the audience’s attention throughout the piece. Rowan showed his skills on the piano and his confident composure while performing in front of the crowd.

Third place was also given to Bella Greenwood (’28). Although Bella was a little nervous at first, she continued performing a beautiful piece. She showed a lot of bravery and the crowd could feel her emotion earning applause from the audience.

Catholic Central also created a separate talent show for all the visual art submissions.
First place in the Visual art category went to Katelyn Ngo (‘26). Her art conveys longing for something that’s just out of your reach. Through this art piece Katelyn showed her strong attention to detail and dedication in general for this project.

The second prize place went to Grace Bui (‘29). Her drawing was funny while also throwing shade to different houses. She showed her artistic talent in an appealing and creative style.

It was too difficult to decide on one second place winner only so Grant Hillary (‘26) also won second place with his wood carving art. He showed his skills and talent through this art piece which left the judges amazed.

Third place ended up having three separate winners, the first winner of third place was Lyndsey Bandlow (‘26). Lyndsey’s art piece was unique in many ways which caused a lot of eye-catching from the audience. Her usage of vibrant colors and patterns was very well done.

Our second runner up for third place was Laura Mysliwiec (‘28). Her drawing was very detailed with a lot of realistic features, showing her attention to the architecture formation. With this art piece, Laura showed her skills controlling the pencil while also showing precision.

Our last runner up for third place was Liz Morales (‘26). Her art piece gave a calm peaceful vibe. She used earthy tones, making it feel and look even more realistic. She used her talent to control the brush and created a beautiful art piece.
